We beat the rain, High Places' equipment arrived via taxi right before their set, and my pieces survived the uhaul transport! The performance turned out great! Thank you all for braving the weather and coming out to support us

plexus no. 8



In grad school I came across Gabriel Dawe's work while searching for fiber artists and was really impressed. Then viola, a year later he does an installation in St. Louis. That NEVER happens.
What photos cannot capture is the perception and spatial play that occurs as you move around the work. It literally took my breath away watching the lines appear to vibrate and move space as I walked into the room. It reads somewhat flat at first and then you realize the interior recedes. Incredible union between work and site.
