"Located in the northern Vermont mill village of Johnson, (pop. 3,450), the Vermont Studio Center resides in the heart of the Green Mountains, a beautiful and pastoral region in the northeastern United States."
very very excited to have received an acceptance letter to attend the VSC Residency Program for 2012!!! I have heard nothing but great things from previous residents and am really looking forward to it. Thankfully I will be going mid May- a non winter month. I would have been very fearful of the weather conditions. Have I mentioned this is the furthest North Ive been in the States?

This Saturday September 17th, Marci McDade, former editor of Fiber Arts Magazine, will kick off the weekend with a lecture at the St. Louis History Museum addressing the contemporary state of fiber arts in addition to giving a current overview of the medium. Following the lecture there will be a gallery hop/bus tour around St. Louis that includes participating venues. Below is a map including the galleries and anticipated arrival times at each location.
